<p>Dear Fellow Rotarians, Rotary Clubs, District Leaders, and Friends,</p>
<p>Around the world, Rotarians are taking action every day to strengthen communities, protect our environment, improve access to clean water, promote peace, advance health, build resilient economies, and empower young people.</p>
<p><b>COP31 in Türkiye presents an extraordinary opportunity to bring these stories of service, leadership, and impact to a global audience.</b></p>
<p>Rotarians from clubs and districts around the world are coming together to establish a <b>Pavilion in the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) Blue Zone at COP31</b>, complemented by participation in side events and activities within the <b>COP31 Blue and Green Zones</b>.</p>
<p>Together, these platforms will provide opportunities to showcase projects, share successful solutions, develop partnerships, and highlight the work of Rotarians and Rotary clubs in communities around the globe.</p>
<h3><b>Our Goal: $150,000</b></h3>
<p>We are seeking to raise <b>$150,000</b> to support the COP31 Pavilion and related Blue and Green Zone activities.</p>
<p>All funds raised will be used to cover costs directly associated with the <b>Pavilion, programming, side events, and related COP31 activities</b>.</p>
<p>All participating Rotarians and volunteers will cover their own travel, lodging, meals, and other personal expenses. <b>Donations and sponsorships will not be used to cover individual participant expenses.</b></p>
<h3><b>Sharing Rotary’s Global Impact</b></h3>
<p>The Pavilion and related events will provide opportunities to highlight the work of Rotarians and Rotary clubs in areas including:</p>
<ul>
<li>Environmental sustainability and climate action</li>
<li>Water, sanitation, and hygiene</li>
<li>Community resilience and disaster response</li>
<li>Public health</li>
<li>Peacebuilding</li>
<li>Community economic development</li>
<li>Youth leadership and engagement</li>
</ul>
<p>Our objective is to use this presence to <b>tell the story of Rotary service around the world</b>—sharing practical solutions developed in local communities, creating new relationships, and connecting Rotarians with organizations and leaders who can help expand the reach and impact of this work.</p>
<h3><b>We Need Your Commitment by Sunday, August 30</b></h3>
<p>To finalize our Pavilion plans and funding commitments, we respectfully ask Rotary clubs, districts, Rotarians, businesses, foundations, organizations, and friends to <b>confirm their intended donation or sponsorship by Sunday, August 30</b>.</p>
<p><b>Committed donations and sponsorship funds should be received by September 15.</b></p>
<p>Your commitment will help us determine the resources available and move forward with the Pavilion and related COP31 programming.</p>

<p>Donations of all amounts are welcome and appreciated.</p>
<p><b>Sponsor logos will be displayed in the COP31 Pavilion</b>, recognizing the Rotary clubs, districts, businesses, foundations, organizations, and other partners whose support helps make this effort possible.</p>
<h3><b>How to Contribute</b></h3>
<p>All donations and sponsorships will be received through the <b>South Ukiah Rotary Foundation</b>, the <b>501(c)(3) charitable entity of the Rotary Club of South Ukiah</b>.</p>
<p>The South Ukiah Rotary Foundation will provide donors with the appropriate <b>tax acknowledgment statement</b> for their contribution.</p>
