<span style="font-size:12pt"><span style="line-height:115%"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif">Thank you to everyone who has already expressed enthusiasm for our <b>District 5130 End Polio Now Torch Relay</b>, taking place <b>October 2–24, 2026</b>.</span></span></span><br>
<span style="font-size:12pt"><span style="line-height:115%"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif">Planning is well underway, and I would like to thank the <b>Rotary Club of Crescent City</b>, which has graciously agreed to host the <b>Opening Ceremony on October 2</b>, and the <b>Rotary Club of Petaluma Valley</b>, which will host the <b>Closing Celebration on World Polio Day, October 24</b>.</span></span></span><br>
<span style="font-size:12pt"><span style="line-height:115%"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif">We are also grateful to the clubs that have already indicated their interest in participating along the relay route. Your early commitment is helping us build an exciting district-wide event that will showcase Rotary in action while raising awareness and support for the fight to end polio.</span></span></span><br>
<span style="font-size:12pt"><span style="line-height:115%"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif">If your club is still considering participation, we would appreciate hearing from you by <b>July 20th</b> so we can begin finalizing the relay schedule.</span></span></span><br>
