introduced herself as the new Executive Director and she
introduced Barbara

"Times New Roman";mso-font-kerning:0pt">150-300 visiting
musicians, many
returning annually and integrated into the community</span><span style="font-family:UICTFontTextStyleTallBody;color:black;mso-font-kerning:0pt;
mso-bidi-font-weight:bold"> play during the Mendocino Music Festival now
celebrating it's 40th year. The e</span><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman";
mso-font-kerning:0pt">conomic Impact is profound: it draws 4,500
attendees,
half stay in local lodging. Estimated $1.9 million spent in the
community
during the festival. Volunteers and housing is needed. Community
support is

color:black;mso-font-kerning:0pt;mso-bidi-font-weight:bold"></span></p>

an award from the Rotary Club for his contribution in overseeing
the Annual

annual Dinner Raffle, Mendocino Rotary's primary annual

to rebuild the Community
Center fence is well underway. The project is critical for
safety and the
center’s license; it is urgenct due to deteriorating conditions
od of the
fence. The School Street
section is almost complete and the Pine Street phase is well
underway. Volunteers are
painting, priming, and installing pickets. Total project cost is
around $10,000
(split between school and Rotary); volunteer labor significantly
reduces
overall expense.</span></p>
