<html><head></head><body><div class="ydpcac250d3yahoo-style-wrap" style="font-family:Helvetica Neue, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;font-size:16px;"><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">Hi, all in Mendocino Rotary, Diane in Fort Bragg and Rico Salvador in Ukiah, you will remember that we have been working in Vanuatu in the South Pacific since 2016, and in the process have accomplished some very worthwhile projects in a poor and needy country while we have formed enduring relationships other Rotary clubs and local organizations that have been nothing less than wonderful.</div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"><br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">Attached is the plaque recognizing the contributions made by Fort Bragg, Katikati (New Zeland), Mendocino and Port Vila Rotary clubs to the Victory School of Hope in Port Vila, Vanuatu where we have helped since 2018 build two toilet blocks with standby water supply and appropriate sanitation, construct a boundary fence, equip a science laboratory, and repair cyclone damage. We are now "talking" with the School and Katikati about a global grant for a new library and computer center, and hope some of you will be interested in joining us in that effort.</div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"><br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">The image is of a wooden split drum, which is/was used to send messages between remote villages and may be made only by a Chief. We have one outside our front door, if you would like to see one.
