<html><head><meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8"></head><body dir="auto">We had a great (and hopefully very profitable) Rotary Club Golf Tournament. Most everybody pitched in. I rolled in about 7:20am with the breakfast items and <b>Gary was there</b>, John Cottle brought the coffee and <b>Gary was there</b> setting up the tables for morning repast, Margaret was bright and early for check in and <b>Gary was there</b> getting everything in order. The BBQ unit was balky and wouldn't start and <b>Gary was there</b> bangin' away until it started. The beer, sodas, water and ice needed to be put out and <b>Gary was there</b> with hand truck to move all those items. People started rolling in and needed to be checked in and <b>Gary was there </b>with Margaret doing the job. Rotarians started rollin' in and <b>Gary was there</b> making sure everyone was productive. The golfers were eager to start and <b>Gary was there</b> giving the rules and instructions. I was a player and started on hole number four, when I came around from hole #9 to hole #10 <b>Gary was there</b> cooking hot dogs. When I came around at the end <b>Gary was there</b> serving hot dogs. At the end of the tournament <b>Gary was there</b> organizing the auction. When it came time to find out the golf results <b>Gary was there</b> running the awards ceremony. When things started to quiet down <b>Gary was there</b> making sure that Kathy and the Little River golf crew knew that Rotary appreciated them. When most of the people had gone <b>Gary was there</b> putting away tables and getting things back in order. When I had to leave at the end of my day <b>Gary was there</b> loading his truck and finishing up. I headed home for a much needed nap, <b>Gary was somewhere</b> putting stuff in the shed, unloading the truck and doing who knows what else to finish the day.
