<html><head></head><body><div class="ydp313cdc9fyahoo-style-wrap" style="font-family:Helvetica Neue, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;font-size:16px;"><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">Rotary International maintains a report of all Rotarians in all clubs around the world, including our Mendocino club. It may be found in MyRotary. The primary purpose of this report is to enable Rotarians all around the world to be in touch with each other, and there are other purposes such as to facilitate transfers from one club to another, and to serve as the basis for billing club dues which is on the basis of membership. The membership report list is updated and closed twice a year, on June 30 and December 31, and clubs are billed for their memberships one day later, on July 1 and January 1. We will not know the exact amount we will be billed until we get the bill, but we expect the amounts due to be about $100.00 for Rotary International and $50.00 for Rotary District 5130.</div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"><br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">Our current membership report is attached for you to review as to accuracy. As you can see, we are going to make some corrections in the case of one member and there may be others. The report shows that during the year we are about to close we had 25 members. However, two members, Harold Hauck and Annie Liner, have withdrawn from the club, and one, Jerry Karabensh, has sadly passed away. So we at present have 22 members and if this number remains at 22 by June 30 we will owe Rotary International about $2,200 and Rotary District 5130 about $1,100, a total of $3,300, for our 22 members. </div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"><br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"> On the other side of the ledger, we have two possible new members, Leon Thomsen and La Donna McDonald. Leon was approved by the membership and paid his dues early this Rotary year, but was not inducted because he has been living elsewhere, hence he was not listed in MyRotary. He has said he wishes to join our meetings, and may have attended our last meeting, We plan to induct him before the end of June, if that is what he wishes, in which case we will owe Rotary International and the District $150 more, a total of $3,450. </div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"><br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">LaDonna is a previous member (President) who moved away and has said she would like to rejoin us. If that is confirmed and approved by the membership we will welcome her into our club probably in July. </div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"><br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">We have other prospective members and should introduce them to the club and process their memberships as early as possible.
