This online tool simplifies leadership succession by allowing incoming leaders access to past goals so they can make informed decisions for the future. Clubs will be eligible for the Rotary Citation if they achieve more than half of their goals by 30 June and have paid all their dues on time. Rotaract clubs will soon be able to use Rotary Club Central to set and track their goals, too. (Refer to the email sent to Rotary club leaders in April for more information.) For now, Rotaract club presidents, members of their sponsor clubs, or district leaders can <a href="https://msgfocus.rotary.org/c/1nFObLkeWrZYMsWcda1DWnM0iJ0INN" style="color: rgb(0, 168, 228);">nominate Rotaract clubs</a> for the Rotary Citation.</td>

The RI Board approved this change to better convey the award’s purpose as recognition of club excellence. Although the name of the award is changing, the criteria for earning it are not. Also starting next year, Rotaractors will be able to set their goals and report their achievements in Rotary Club Central, and they’ll need to do so by 30 June 2025 to earn the Club Excellence Award.
