<b>Happy Holidays to all, and a Special Rotary Appeal</b>
<p> Our District has taken on a leadership role in the HANWASH project in Haiti, with the aim of providing clean water and sanitation to underserved areas of the island. The ultimate objective is to establish a successful model that can be replicated in other regions facing similar challenges with basic sanitation and access to clean water. The project has garnered interest from Rotarians worldwide, but additional support is needed to achieve the ambitious goal of transforming lives in Haiti and beyond.</p>
<p>Cathy King (Healdsburg) and Dan Balfe (Santa Rosa) are co-chairs of the committee, seeking new members and administrative assistance for tasks such as monthly reports, a RASCI matrix, and Log Frame. The HANWASH committee holds weekly international meetings on Wednesdays at 2:30 PST via Zoom.
