Hello Club Presidents, Club Foundation Chairs, Club Secretaries and Area Governors! <br>

Just a quick reminder about the upcoming Foundation/Membership Seminar and Foundation Gala Dinner on October 28th. I'm excited about having everyone together at one Foundation event in Ukiah!<br>
<br>
I referenced in my email the annual raffle drawing that we do every year at the event and wanted to make sure that you had a bit more information.<br>
<br>
1. <strong>Raffle Drawing Instructions and Tickets: </strong>Attached you will find some instructions as to how the raffle works. I've also attached the template for the raffle tickets so you can print off as many of these as you need.<br>
<br>
2. <strong>How to Donate: </strong>In addition to getting drawing tickets for giving that has already been done since July 1st (see below), please make sure to talk about the event and encourage your members to purchase tickets over the weeks to come. There are 3 ways they can do that: online through their MyRotary login, a check payable to the Rotary Foundation or to support our special Polio Fundraiser we are doing for this event. We're hoping to raise $10,000 for Polio efforts and that can be done using this link <a href="https://raise.rotary.org/District5130/fundraiser">District 5130 Flight to End Polio - Raise for Rotary</a><br>

3. <strong>Raffle Prizes</strong>: We are asking all of the clubs to donate a basket or two for the event that will be used as prizes for the drawing at the event on October 28th. Please don't spend a lot of money on these baskets but maybe have them be a fun representation of your area. Let us know if you need help getting those baskets to Ukiah on event day<br>

4. <strong>Raffle Tickets</strong>: Your members do not need to be present on the 28th to win (although the event is going to be a blast so hopefully they will all come!) BUT we do need to make sure we have all of your tickets in hand on that date. <br>

<strong>Club Foundation Chairs: </strong>Let me know if you need your members' foundation and polio giving since July 1st - I can get that for you. They will get tickets into the drawing - 1 ticket for every $20 or 6 per $100. We'll handle the tickets for any contributions that go in through the above Flight to End Polio. <br>
<br>
