I am excited to announce that registration is now OPEN for the upcoming District 5130 Foundation event <strong><span style="color:#c0392b;">on Saturday, October 28th in Ukiah</span>! </strong>This is going to be a fun time for us to ALL come together to share ideas, hear some incredible speakers and have some fun! We're going to do something a bit different this year with just <u>one</u> Foundation event so that we can all be together. We're also going to shake up the format of both the Seminar and the Dinner so we're pretty sure that you won't want to miss it! <br>

The format is going to be collaborative with a lot of interaction with your fellow Rotarians to learn and share best practices for both Foundation and Membership. There will be plenty of opportunities to participate in both sections and take new ideas back to your clubs! There is no cost and lunch is included!<br>

<strong>We are excited to have as our keynote speaker, Iowa Rotarian Peter Teahen. who recently succeeded in circumventing the globe in a single engine Cessna airplane with his friend John. As you may have seen in this month's Rotarian Magazine, their Flight to End Polio feat was done to bring awareness and raise money for Polio Eradication. This is a program you definitely don't want to miss! </strong><br>

* <strong><u>Foundation Raffle</u></strong>: As always, we will be having some fun raising money for the Foundation and are asking clubs to bring 1-2 raffle baskets to the dinner event. All of your contributions to the Foundation and Polio since July 1st will get you tickets into the drawing. And, your Club Foundation Chair also has additional tickets for you. $20 per ticket or 6 for $100 for your donations made to the Foundation/Polio. And new this year to make it easy for you, we also have this special fundraiser for Polio in honor of our speaker with drawing tickets applied for all dollars you donate . <strong><a href="https://raise.rotary.org/District5130/fundraiser">CLICK HERE for this special event!</a></strong> All of your donations will be credited to your own Paul Harris points. <br>
