are working in emergency shelters, moving supplies, finding housing for the displaced, supporting schools and more. The tragedy is immense, there is a lot of human suffering and the loss of an entire town.</span>

Our Rotary District 5000 Foundation is the central point to receive donations. As a 501c3 organization, all donations are charitable. 100% of monies donated will be used to start recovery for the island. Updated stories and reports can be found at

A committee has formed to assess needs and develop a strategic plan. We have already initiated our first support. $50,000 has been released to provide $100 gas cards to 500 people who lost their homes. Our Maui Rotarians identified this as a great need. Distribution
of the gas cards was well received. Recipients were grateful and there were many tears and hugs. Additional funds are to be released in the coming days.</div>
