Every Member who voted, ( a majority of the Club ), voted Yes to send money to Maui! The majority felt that $1000 was the proper amount. The rub is that we don’t currently have a Disaster Fund account. There is $4000 in an incidental account but I do not know if we can legitimately use those funds for this purpose. If some member has knowledge of how to accomplish this correctly, please let me, Jeff and Brandt know. How proud I am to be a member of District 5130. I had sent an earlier request for Rotarians in our district to consider making a donation to the Maui Fire Relief, courtesy of Rotary District 5000. The response has been great, and I have had several requests for the mailing address so donors can send a check versus a credit card or PayPal payment. The mailing address was forwarded to me, and I am sharing it with all of you. <br>

This is a great opportunity to share this information with family and friends who would like to help the people of Maui to deal with the catastrophic fire and the myriad of problems they face in the immediate and long term.
