Dear Toby,<br>
<br>
As you know Turkey and Syria have been hit by an earthquake that affected thousands of people, causing destruction and loss of thousands of lives. <br>
The need is huge and as the hours and days pass the needs may change from first response, medical, food and water to shelter and rebuilding.<br>
<br>
I want to share with you a number of ways you and your club can use to help those affected by the earthquake.<br>
All Rotarians and non Rotarians can donate to the Rotary Foundation Disaster Response Fund <a href="https://my.rotary.org/en/disaster-response-fund" target="_blank">https://my.rotary.org/en/disaster-response-fund</a> a general fund which supports Clubs and Districts Disaster Relief activities. <br>
These contributions fund the Rotary Disaster Response Grants to support a District's immediate disaster relief efforts such as this one.<br>
<br>
We also have ShelterBox, a Rotary International project partner that provides essential items and technical assistance right after disasters <a href="https://www.shelterboxusa.org/turkey-earthquake/" target="_blank">https://www.shelterboxusa.org/turkey-earthquake/</a><br>
<br>
Another resource is the Disaster Network of Assistance Rotarian Action Group. They can provide advice and support in all aspects of Rotary grants. If your club would like to do a grant to help those in need go to <a href="https://dna-rag.com/" target="_blank">https://dna-rag.com/</a><br>
