Members attending: Jerry, Susan, Jeff, Margaret, Ray, Gary, Toby, Mike, Leona and Brandt (10). Guests attending: Karen Stubbs, Beth Craven (2). Total attending 12. Jerry got the meeting started and Susan took over a substantial part of the time. Jerry reminded us that our next meeting will be Thursday January 26, in the Art Center, with a presentation by staff of the Art Center centered on their new program for kids. </div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"><br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">After the preliminaries, Beth gave an excellent presentation on the Mendocino Theater and the plays it is planning for this year. She had our full attention for a program that appears fun, filled with insight and relevant to our community and our times. It will begin March 2 with the first presentation in the US of the British pop satire play I'm Darling, Home. That will be followed by Paradise, about an immigrants experience with life in the western world, Woody Guthries' American Song, Ripcord and The Seafarer. </div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"><br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">We thanked Beth for her presentation, and talked about a possible social event involving club members going together to a play. Susan suggested it could be a year-long thing, with club members attending each of the plays together, as a group. Susan and Jerry will follow up, </div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"><br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">We also talked about our finances, which are in excellent shape, and noted that there was likely to be a sizeable unspent balance in the activities account even after all planned activities are funded. There also had been about $3500 in the Paypal account, transferred to the Club account after December 31 and not yet shown in the Club income statement. Some of this will go to the Foundation and some to the club. Jerry asked where a withdrawal made from the Paypal account in September was shown. </div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"><br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"><span><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Helvetica Neue, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;">We talked about the Paypal account, and decided we would deactivate it. Jeff would contact Jesse to get that done. </span></span> </div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"><br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">Last but not least, we talked about membership, and agreed to redouble our efforts to invite persons who might be interested to attend our meetings and events, and to make those meetings and events attractive and fun. </div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"> <br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">We concluded at 1:00 with thanks to Jerry and Susan for organizing and conducting an excellent meeting, enjoyed by all.</div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"><br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">Our next meeting will be Thursday, January 26, at the Art Center. All, please attend, and invite someone else who might enjoy the presentation. </div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"><br></div><div class="ydp57cd92b1signature">Jeff Stubbs, Secretary<br>Rotary Club of Mendocino</div><div class="ydp57cd92b1signature">P.O.
