<div dir="ltr">Yes, mine. I was cycling in the woods last Friday and fell due to a slick tree root. It's the fibula, one of the bones just above the ankle.<div><br></div><div>I am making this general announcement just to let you all know, not really as a plea for favors. The good news, I don't need surgery. The bad news, I am partially confined to quarters for another week or so because I need to keep it elevated most of the time, with no weight bearing on my left foot for at least 4 weeks. I can get out on crutches, but it's a challenge. The longer my foot isn't elevated, the more it swells and hurts.</div><div><br></div><div>If any of you are so inclined, I am glad to have visitors come by. Planning ahead is fine, but short notice is usually ok too. Text is the best way to reach me on short notice, I don't check email as often as some of you do.</div><div><br></div><div>John Cottle</div><div>707-485-2096</div></div>
