Though his mind remains clear, his health has declined to the point that he awaits placement in a nursing facility. Unfortunately there are waiting lists, and he remains at home requiring continuous standby assistance. Hired help in the home has been sought, and simply cannot be found at this time. It would be a tremendous relief to John and his wife if one of us could just sit with him for three hours a day to allow her time to run errands, and have a bit of time to relax.<br>

Please email me if you could make time to sit with John, enjoying his company and hearing stories of better days. Let me know as soon as you can which days are best for you. I will generate a calendar and let you know what works best. This will probably only be for a few weeks. If at least six of us can step up for one day a week, it would be a tremendous gift to John. I assure you that it would be more pleasure than hardship for you.<br>
