Because it is a Board meeting, non-Board members are invited to attend, and may comment on things as we go along, but most of the discussion should be amongst Board members. </div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"><br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">The primary purpose of this meeting is to assess and update our financial position, and the readiness of the various projects we will be proposing for next year, within that financial position, as best we can determine it.</div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"><br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">Committee chairs, please talk with your members and flesh out your proposals ahead as much as possible. </div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"><br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">One item you may not be aware of: Sakina Bush, who is the coordinator of the local Farmer's Markets, including ours, has asked if their organization can use a small area of the eastern side of the Park, temporarily, for 3-4 Farmer's Market booths, to help them accomplish the social distancing required under the Covid-19 pandemict. They would be willing to pay a small fee for the use of this land, and they would need it only from about 11:30 to 2:30 on Fridays, beginning in mid-June, as the market ramps up. The County requires them to separate the booths, and provide socially distant space between vendors and shoppers, hence they need substantially more space.</div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"><br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">Last year the Market paid the owner to use the privately owned land on the east side of Howard street, but their permission to use the land has been withdrawn due to the fear of the landowner of the Covid-19 virus.
