We will be discussing your ideas on how and what we will do as a club this coming Thursday at the board meeting- noon Mendocino Hotel, please RSVP. We will need to form a sub-committee, and I am suggesting of the Community Service committee. Can I ask that you please respond with at least a simple yes that you have received this email? If I don't year from you- your name is Brandt, and you are in Italy. <p>Fellow District 5130 Rotarians,</p>
<p>From devastation comes inspiration and from wildfires come wildflowers.</p>
<p>Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your tremendous generosity and commitment to living the Rotary 4-Way Test as we navigate our way through the one of the worst natural disasters Northern California has ever seen.</p>
<p>As we emerge, there will be much work to do to rebuild our lives and our communities. Rotary clubs are perfectly situated to take the lead at the community level to understand the local situation and determine the best way forward.</p>
<p>We have established the District 5130 Fire Relief Fund, a 501 (c) 3 Non-Profit, to receive funds from donors in the District, the greater Rotary community and from around the world. These funds will be administered by a committee of 12 members representing Sonoma, Napa, Mendocino and Lake Counties who will assess unmet needs and determine how best to distribute the assets of the fund.</p>
<p>Please distribute the attached flier to everyone you know, post it on Facebook, tweet it, add it to your website, get the message out that Rotary is at work to rebuild our communities. And yes, please make your personal donation as well!</p>
