is foremost a meteorologist “par excellence. “ Walt writes a
weekly column on the weather for the Beacon/Advocate. He is president of
the Mendocino Community Library. He has been a science instructor at the
College of the Redwoods in Fort Bragg. He has appeared on San
Francisco and Santa Rosa TV stations on science and weather matters. He
hosted a PBS series on meteorological questions and another on Halley’s
Comet. His “CV” runs 8 pages. I counted 8 scientific publications
and 15 scientific lectures he has given.</FONT></DIV>
