Deadline to submit photos of your quilts is August.<br></div><div><br></div><div>This is a WONDERFUL little art center in Willits next to the theater - with amazing exhibit space. Our Iconic Mendocino Building quilts hung there last year, and a couple of us were part of a Made in Mendocino exhibit a few years ago. Definitely worth your time to consider entering. Smaller quilts are probably better - there's not really space for king size quilts, for example.<br></div><div><br></div><div>Laura Fogg, Holly Brackman, etc., almost always have pieces in this show. Very worthwhile entering - and going to see it!!</div><div><br></div><div>(Just a side note for full disclosure... they sometimes have trouble staffing the gallery and might ask those exhibiting a work to take a shift as a volunteer to man the front desk for a couple of hours. It's not a hard job, but you might have to open up the gallery, man the cash register, or lock up at the end of they day. You can negotiate this to some extent. We also, when we showed the Mendocino quilts, had to hang the exhibit ourselves (Howard proved to be quite good at this!), but I didn't have to do that the first time I was in Made in Mendocino.)<br></div><div><br></div><div>I urge you to consider entering your quilts. <br></div><div><br></div><div>If you have questions, let me know!<br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div>Sharon Lau<br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div class="zmail_signature_below"><div id="" data-zbluepencil-ignore="true" data-sigid="8279618000000009001"><div><br></div></div></div><div><br></div></div><br></body></html>
