the frame strips about ¾” wide.<span class=""> </span>Cut the contrasting

the frame strip on the quilt with right sides together.<span class=""> </span>Check to make sure that the narrow strip is
on top, wrong side up.<span class=""> </span>Carefully match
the edges and accurately sew using a ¼” seam.</p>

the quilt top wrong side up.<span class=""> </span>Place the
border strip <b class="">underneath</b> the quilt top, right sides together, matching

</span></span></span><!--[endif]-->Instead of using the right side of the presser
foot as your guide, use the <i class="">left side </i>of the presser foot.<span class=""> </span>Butt the presser foot into the
sewn seam, against the line of stitching you created in Step 2.<span class=""> </span>Sew your seam, then press toward the border
strip.<span class=""> </span>Sew border strips on all four

sewing on the border strip, you can re-press the seam between the quilt and the
frame strip towards the frame strip.<span class="">
</span>This can eliminate some bulk if your quilt top has a lot of seams in it.</p>

can also make a double border with the frame strip between the two parts of the
border.<span class=""> </span>This way, when you press the
first seam of the frame strip toward the quilt, there isn’t any problem with
