Choose any solid jewel-tone saturated color (or color that reads solid).</p>

<p class="ydp3687aea0MsoNormal">1. Sew the <b>end</b> of each gray strip to the <b>end</b> of a white 2½” x 4½” strip,
resulting in two gray/white strips (one 10½” long and the other 12½” long).</p>

<p class="ydp3687aea0MsoNormal">2. Sew the 2½” x 8½”
white strip to the LEFT side of the inner square. See Figure 1 (on 1<sup>st</sup> page).</p>

white strip to the TOP of the inner square.

gray/white strip to the BOTTOM of the inner square, making sure that the gray

gray/white strip to the right side of the inner square, making sure that the
gray part of the strip is on the BOTTOM.
