and training for workers who deal with raw sewage and shift differentials.<br>

Larry Lee Hope, a port custodian and SEIU 1021 member for 22 years, spoke of these important wins but that members must continue to keep the union strong at the port, "This contract addresses some obstacles, but we have to continue to work on making long-term
improvements. Now we can hold our own new employee orientations and welcome our new members without management being there."</span></span><br>
