<p>We only have one week to speak up before NOAA’s Monday, August 21 deadline for the public to comment on rollbacks of environmental safeguards. It’s crucial that at least 25,000 Wavemakers like you respond before it’s too late. </p>
<p>If the Trump Administration gets its way, it will:</p>

<li>Eliminate life-saving regulations that protect<strong> endangered species</strong> from extinction
</li><li>Fast-track approvals for dirty <strong>offshore drilling</strong>, which leads to oil spills in our oceans
</li><li>Destroy or degrade national <strong>marine sanctuaries</strong> and the marine life they support
</li><li>Green light <strong>seismic airgun blasting</strong> in the Atlantic, harming up to 138,000 dolphins and whales
</li><li>Reverse science-based <strong>fishery management</strong> programs that are restoring our oceans

<p>The consequences of this needless effort will be extreme and far-reaching. Together, we can save our country’s ocean protections from the chopping block.</p>
