person, Matt Leach. We could have food if we want. Motion carried to spend up to $75 on publicity for Annie. There will be a radio interview on KZYX and Liz Helenchild will do a feature on her show. Publicity is important to get the word out. We want 20

<p>- Golden Rule slated to arrive Sun 6/11 and Monday will be potluck at Trinity Hall 6pm, Tuesday docked at Wharf with a reception at 6pm
<span>Silver's</span>. They want donations, have T-shirts, slideshow, a speaker, etc.</p>
<p>- 4th of July Parade - Carrie not able to go so Ann will find out about theme, get us entered. Bob will have his truck running, Richard's truck could be backup if needed.</p>
<p>- John will ask Kamela Harris to come to our MLK event as the guest speaker - GREAT if she is able to arrange this!</p>
<p>- Hwy cleanup - Caltrans sent papers to get another commitment for 5 years so we can fill out and if later we need to back out it will be OK.</p>
<p>Tue 6/20 10:30am next cleanup day in Casper.</p>
<p>- Street Protest going ok 152 honks and some folks coming by to speak to us.</p>
<p>- Peace Garden weeding getting done by Dan, Ann, Richard. The Plaque needs to be taken in for refurbishing, could cost around $50. Have room for more names and at the next ceremony (Sept 21st) Richard will check donation can more closely. He'll ask Gene
Parsons to perform. Think about recipient by 8/5 mtg and vote on 8/19.</p>
<p>- Sheila reports the Green Party of Mendocino is again meeting, Robin Sunbeam held mtg. in Ukiah, have $500 in treasury. The Council meets every 6 months to pick 2 delegates from our County to go to the election committee. There are 1,250 County members.</p>
<p>-- Progressives are meeting but not well organized - they asked John to go to their meeting, which then canceled with no notice of new place or time. Ann gets mail from Mobilize Mendocino group that Susan Nutter sends out but it didn't mention Progressive
group.</p>
<p>- Book by Sharon Ellison called 'Taking the war out of our words' says don't use terms like 'attack', 'withdraw' that frame warlike behavior.</p>
<p>Richard moves that we discuss process in August and try to use better communication in meetings, Sheila seconded.</p>
<p>- Sheila will again call Leslie Van Derhooten to see if she will come and possibly be a Tech person, webmaster type.</p>
