deck on North State St. The Walkers will carry a redwood log and tan oak branches to symbolize the plight of the forest.</span></div>

<span style="font-size:12pt">The first “March to Heal the Forest” originated last October from Comptche in Mendocino County, as the manifestation of a dream about a mass procession up the Pacific coast to Alaska, reconnecting the entire ecosystem to protect
the planet from climate change. Over several days, the LogWalkers carried the log, branches and message over a 52 mile route to Ukiah. </span></div>

are pedestrian-friendly, the Walk will be organized in segments, connecting communities with a message of hope and health for future generations. </span></div>
