Public comment only 3 min, write comments and copy to all parties. G/P has been reluctant to do a real good cleanup, we must insist!</div><div style="margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;" class="">- EPA being destroyed under Pruitt and Trump, but State Department of Toxic Substance Control has already been overseeing the job and G/P is mandated to do the cleanup. They stalled, but now must finish the job to sell property. They want the City to zone and sign off, but we must be certain that cleanup is thorough.</div><div style="margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;" class="">- Hare Creek project still a concern, but the EIR has not been submitted, and many people want the project moved to another site and save the Hare Creek Knoll. </div><div style="margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;" class="">- Recent visitor survey shows Fort Bragg is the most popular city in the County, people come here for the scenic beauty, unspoiled beaches, quaint historic town, to see the Ocean's majesty, special events like Whale Festival and Paul Bunyan Days, stay for 2-3 days and spend money. They do not come to see a Grocery Outlet blocking the Ocean View.</div><div style="margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;" class="">- People Power event at the Senior Center was a huge success - 50 people came, we viewed telecast to 2,300 sites across the Nation with great participation. Topics were: Health care, First amendment rights to free speech, immigration, income inequality causing homeless issues, militarization, private prisons, planned parenthood.
