<p><span style="font-size:medium"><font face="Arial">Donald Trump just nominated Scott Pruitt to head the EPA. Pruitt is a climate denier and Big Oil crony who seems more interested in tearing apart our environmental protections than in standing up for the
planet.</font></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:medium"><font face="Arial">And Pruitt isn’t the only one. Trump is filling his government with Wall Street insiders, corporate shills, racists, xenophobes, and sexists.</font></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:medium"><font face="Arial">The Senate still has the power to block these terrible nominees. So Friends of the Earth is joining with allies from across the progressive movement to send a strong message -- our Senators must block Trump’s
cabinet of hate and Wall Street greed.</font></span></p>

and Wall Street greed.</a></font></span></b></p>
<p><span style="font-size:medium"><font face="Arial">Trump claims he wants to “drain the swamp,” but he’s doing the opposite. His cabinet picks expose his real agenda: exploiting the deepest and darkest fears in our country to enrich himself and his friends.</font></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:medium"><font face="Arial">Already people like you are taking action to condemn Trump’s racist, misogynistic, xenophobic behavior and that of his surrogates. This week, Friends of the Earth and allies delivered more than one million
signatures from people like you to Congress demanding that it speak out against the appointment of White Supremacist Stephen Bannon.</font></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:medium"><font face="Arial">But Bannon isn’t the only threat. Racist, climate-denying Senator Jeff Sessions could lead the Justice Department. He’d have the power to let Exxon Mobil get away with denying the climate crisis -- potentially
the biggest case of corporate fraud in history. </font></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:medium"><font face="Arial">And Scott Pruitt is suing the EPA -- impeding the very agency he’s charged with leading. He wants to roll back the Clean Power Plan and Clean Water Rule. Why? Because he’s received more than $315,000 from
fossil fuel industries since 2002.</font></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:medium"><font face="Arial">At Friends of the Earth, we’re working to expose and defeat Trump’s terrible appointees. So we’ll shine a light on their shady corporate pasts and push Congress to reject them. And if they make it through
Congress, we will expose and watchdog their every move. But we need your help.</font></span></p>
