We are looking for help identifying seniors on SSI/SSP who may be willing to share their stories, especially anyone who is homeless now or has faced homelessness in the past. We would like to shoot stories in the first week of February.<br><br><br><br>We will debut the video at an event in SF we will be holding in early April where we will also be honoring Assemblymember Thurmond with the Justice in Aging Impact Award. We hope those of you in the Bay Area will be able to join us and we’ll be sending more info soon. The event is our annual CA fundraiser which will focus on the need for us to act now to address senior poverty in the Bay Area, California and nationally. The video will be about the issue of SSI/SSP and the need to do more to improve the program, not a promotion of our work.
