Fracking is a dangerous practice that our government has failed to protect<br>
the public from. Stop fracking in California.<br>
<br>
That's why I created a petition to The California State House, The California State Senate, and Governor Jerry Brown, which says:<br>
<br>
"Fracking is bad for our Oceans, our farms and agriculture, our homes and the water we use for all domestic purposes. Science shows that more methane is released into the atmosphere with fracking for gas and oil than is released by burning coal. President Obama promised us a future that will address global warming, but Fracking is making that promise a<br>
mockery and helping create a dangerous rise in global warming.<br><br></div>Fracking has caused an increase in the occurrence of earthquakes in Colorado and other states. We can't afford that here in California, with two nuclear power plants sitting on faultlines.<br>
<div><div><br> There is enough energy available with wind energy and other sustainable sources to take care of most of Americas energy needs."<br>
