What do you say about going to the next B.O.S. meeting to urge them
to set up a public bank and to use Eminent Domain to take titles to
securitized mortgages and foreclosed homes? Is there anyone who
knows a person being notified of default on their loan? That person
should come to the Ukiah Assessor's office and demand to see the
note( proof of who the mortgage holder is) that will be the
beginning of a Moratorium on Foreclosure. Then the Recorder Susan
Ranochak can send an Affidavit of Authority demanding a signature of
the banker or robo signer as condition of filing the foreclosure
document in her registry.
There are two or three B.O.S.meetings in Dec. the 11th ,
the 17th and 18th. Who is up for a trip to Ukiah B.O.S. meeting?
The credit union is being created with the help of Supervisors
John Avalos and Eric Mar. The group filed its paperwork and has
already crafted a thoughtful mission statement: The credit union
will serve as a replicable model for other financial
institutions to reinvest wealth in their local communities. They
will support microenterprise, provide educational loans, and
foster community improvement projects.
Jason Macarthur, a protester with Occupy SF, listed the goals
that the organization plans to achieve within the first year.
That includes starting with 500 members with plans to grow to
2,000 members before the end of next year.
