Dear Tim,

I'm writing a news article that touches on off-the-air conduct by KZYX programmers, and was wondering if you'd care to comment on the following:

You recently wrote that Marco and others on the KZYXtalk chat room are members of a 'dog pack' that wanted to 'wear a kzyx leash'. In view of the fact that many people here are KZYX members, what kind of impact do you think that kind of language has on KZYX's
listenership?

Also, I don't recall hearing the names of any underwriters on your weekly KZYX radio show, 'Cardboard Prison Radio.' Is there any quid-pro-quo between your conduct on this chat room and your privilege of having a weekly radio show?

And finally, since this type of language appears to be ongoing (at least for the 1 year+ that I've been here), have you ever been reprimanded for it?

I'm copying this inquiry to Program Manager Jeffrey Parker, who's also welcome to comment.

Sincerely,

marco, as usual, loses or conflates the thread. slag away, fools. and thanks for all
the kind words and more-professional-than-thou advice over the years...
as your dog pack regroups, you might ask yourselves, 'why do i want to wear a kzyx
leash, anyway?'
ankle-biters unite!
