My analysis of the financial information from the website shows the CPB grant increasing from $100k to $190k over the last ten years, though it went down to $140k last year.
According to the audits, community support went way down starting in 2007. Membership went from $450k to $250k at its lowest point and underwriting and events income went down as well.
Perhaps I am interpreting the info wrong, or the 990's tell a different story...
