Tim, did YOU get you ballot already?? And WHY should some people get them weeks earlier then others, and then others get them only at the last week or not at all?? Aren't these ballots being mailed by a hired election company, or does Stuart mail them out individually as he has time to do so?? In which case I could understand it taking some time, but then why would Marco have to wait yet another full week after signing an affidavit about a missing ballot and requesting one from Stuart?? (Netflix gets my movie returns OVERNIGHT) Is Stuart overwhelmed with mailings?? Perhaps Mary Aigner and John Coate are helping him out ?? (kinda of a scary thought, given all the other work they have to do by themselves for KZYX) And who actually ENSURES that ALL the ballots get mailed out…Is there a way to cross check the list of ballots mailed with ballots received?? IS there any transparency in the election process?? I realize that these are MANY questions, but please answer the only ones that you can, particularly the FIRST question…did YOU get your ballot yet??

Sincerely,

Clark Fish

On Mon, Mar 23, 2015 at 3:47 PM, Tim Gregory <tgregory@saber.net> wrote:

haters gonna hate...seems your disaffection is equally as complete as sako's. too
much brilliance in service of wounded egos, to me, however real your demons turn out
can't say as i blame you for speculating about yr missing ballot, though...
perhaps, marco, if you could ameliorate it with something brilliant about what you
love about the station, over and above, or transcending disagreements.

No KZYX board election ballot yet in my p.o. box, despite my having
called the station weeks ago because others told me they got theirs, and despite my
having written, communicated with Stuart Campbell, got via email a form to fill out
and filled it out and signed it to swear, as requested, that if I got a ballot
beyond the one I didn't get but might get I'd destroy it, and physically mailing
that form to the address provided on it by the "election coordinator". And a full
week after that, after checking my p.o. box again, I'm out of town, as I said I
would be, and won't get to my box now until the night of Saturday the 28th, a single
post-office day before the election deadline.

I'm beginning to think somebody up there (at KZYX) doesn't like me.
Also, given how the board and management have behaved so far in other areas, this
doesn't inspire confidence in the election process. I wonder how many other members
didn't get their ballot; and how would it even be possible to find out?

In the previous election less than a third of the members' votes
were even counted and, given that, a reform candidate lost by a handful of votes.

And in case this is the only chance I get to officially say so,
which it looks like it is, if I had not been prevented from voting I would have
voted for Dennis O'Brien and Doug McKenty, based on their candidate statements,
their writing to kzyxtalk@lists.mcn.org, and their comments at the single short
farce of an on-air forum.
