Hey Tim, thanks for keeping me honest.<div><br></div><div>I was referring to the first line in the GM report for February 2009 under "financials" where John says "We went from break even to 93k in debt in the fourth quarter of FY 2008." I misunderstood as I thought John C. was manager at that time. Did not realize he started in August. </div>
<div><br></div><div>As to the second point. I must have missed that email. There was some talk in the minutes of starting a "friends of KZYX" group at the time to promote the issue, but I do not recall that coming to fruition. As the host of Open Lines, one would think that I would have been notified so we could have discussed it on the air. There was no board access show explaining the situation, nor was the debt a centerpiece during the pledge drives. Also as the host of Open Lines, I fielded a lot of questions about the debt upon the elimination of Christina. A lot of people in our community felt blindsided and none of them that I knew were aware of the debt problem until the lay off. If the stations problems had been advertised, perhaps we would have gotten more support and our FY 2009 a little better. Just a thought.</div>
<div><br></div><div>Other info: apparently the underwriting is (or was) calculated based on the calendar year. I read something under underwriting in the Dec. 2008 GM report about the 69k billing but it also says they got 97% of a 100k goal. I don't understand. Perhaps David can explain.</div>
<div><br></div><div>Also, I have been reading more about the PAC. It appears there was an effort by John C. and Mary to meld the PAC and CAB. This should not have been allowed as the CAB is charged with appointing a member to the PAC so some more amendment to the document was necessary. It just created some inconsistency.</div>
<div><br></div><div>There is also a board vote in the minutes of the Dec 2008 meeting to include an Appendix 6 to the PAC policy paper which I do not have in my documentation. Anybody have any ideas?</div><div><br></div>
<div>Doug M.</div><div><br></div><div>ps I am learning a lot about the history of the station by finally studying this stuff, please feel free to double check my research as this gets complicated.</div><div><br></div><div>

<div>Hey, wouldn't that be great - getting
the IRS involved! You'd really be a hero then, eh? <br>
<br>
I have no more time to waste on you, John. It's become clear even
to your new friends that you are pursuing your own agenda, which
has nothing to do with improving the radio station. Bye-bye.<br>

Tim, how about answering my question in an earlier regarding a
single line item for salaries and benefits? One line. With one
number. It seems as if that single budget item item has been
deliberately obfuscated in both our audits and IRS returns. This
could be an IRS issue if the intent was to deceive or conceal.<br>
