Was there any fire in all this smoke and knashing of teeth?<div><br></div><div>After reading all the posts I have come to the conclusion that there is more smoke than fire here. The motivations of people attacking the station are clearer to me now. It seems to me this is more about disgruntled people going for a power grab than it is about serious problems with the station. The personal attacks on the disgruntled side regarding management at KZYX just don't pass the sniff test if you ask me. I think they may have valid points, but their tactics of attack by personally going after their opponents with disgusting personal affronts has only strengthened my belief that that there are other agendas here that have nothing to do with the health of the radio station but more to do with egos of the people involved.</div><div><br></div><div>As a matter of fact, I think the station opponents did more damage to their agenda than then they realize. Which in a way is too bad because I do think things could get better at KZYX in regards to diversity, but all the huffing and blowing and slinging of mud just made me want to take a shower. Oh, and the letters to the FCC lacked any credibility in my opinion and frankly, I resent the fact that critics felt the need to go to the Feds to get their point across. Let's keep our dirty laundry in house please. A clumsy tactic to apply pressure to your enemies which in the end just makes everyone look bad - especially the critics. It all just ends up sounding petulant and immature. Not a way to get support. However you did get attention and I think that was really the real reason behind these attacks.
