If the caller did not repeat his transgression of profanity after being warned by McKenty, Mr. Bray's argument is irrelevant. Doug is obviously not as prone to shutting up listeners, as others on the staff of KZYX certainly are.</div>

was his failure to respond by shutting off the caller, apologizing
to the listeners, and reiterating station policy on profanity.
(I didn't hear the show, but it's my understanding from those who
did, that Doug simply let the conversation go on. As management
had previously made clear, they view that as a potentially serious
FCC infraction.) WDan followed the policy and was temporarily
suspended (NOT a "free pass" as you allege). I don't know
anything about the Sherry Glaser incident.<br>

I know Doug believes he was set up. Doug believes a lot of things
that aren't necessarily so. He sees conspiracies everywhere. His
belief that he was being set up for dismissal became a kind of
self-fulfilling prophecy. (When you believe strongly in
