We at the MCPBC have been in intermittent contact with Norm DuVall over
the past 3 years of our home rule charter effort. Norm attempted a
Mendocino County charter over 25 years ago when he was a county supervisor
and failed by a few votes.

Norm may complain on the
radio that no one is consulting him, but he has been invited time and
again to the MCPBC meetings and fails to respond. The best way to
get info from him is to call him. Then he will be a fountain of
information.

It isn't clear why his charter effort
failed. I think it is because he didn't have Charles Cresson Wood to
logically figure out a strategy plan. Perhaps we could invite him to
our next CRNMC Thursday night meeting or maybe one of us could interview
him. I'd like it better if we had a phone conference with Norm so
that many ears could hear him and many voices could question him. I
think he would be thrilled with that.

In Peace, Robin<br
