donation. <br><br>We also need to plan one big fundraiser,
perhaps in 2 or 3 venues around the county. And a couple of smaller
fundraisers. I noticed that Jim Hightower will be in Petaluma for a
workshop on 9/28. I emailed him to invite him to come to Mendocino
County on 9/27 and maybe also 9/26. If any of you know him
personally, please contact him and ask him for us. <br><br>Can
anyone think of any other big name celebrity that we could invite to do a
fundraiser? I'm sure Swami Beyondananda would come again, but we
have already done several shows with him around the county and maybe
people don't want to pay to see him again. <br><br>It takes a
minimum of 2 months to organize a big fundraiser, so we have to start
brainstorming right now! Any suggestions for smaller
fundraisers? Even a free lecture can be a fundraiser with a bake
non-sale and passing the hat 3/4 way through the event. You could
even do a 50:50 raffle which is simple and only requires a roll of raffle
tickets, a promoter, and a jar. <br><br>Who has good ideas for
