Of course, if you want to post PSA's, they need to be sent in 2 weeks in advance. Whoever is in charge of doing PSA's better send them in today for an event on the 24th. Do we want to announce it on the community calendars? If so, then the PSA's need to go out today.
It would be to our advantage if 30 people from the community showed up in support of our handing in the petitions. But it will be fine if it is just us.
Carrie, I strongly suggest that as soon as you bypass 5000, plan a workday for everyone to come to Ukiah, and hand in the petitions, however many you have by that time. Alert the press but don't expect them to come. Have our own photographer there, to take a bunch of pics to use one in the press release someone should already be writing. Who is in charge of writing the press release? Ed? Who is in charge of alerting the press of the big day when the petitions will be handed in? As soon as you decide the date (hopefully sooner than 2 weeks away), Peter, be sure to post a Facebook event and perhaps "pin it" to the top.
