 a grassroots group of volunteers. We are working to make San Benito 
County the first &quot;frontline&quot; county in California to ban fracking &amp; 
extreme extraction in California. We have some oil and gas drilling in 
our county, but we&#39;re working hard to stop it from expanding into the 
rest of the county.</p><p>Our ballot initiative is scheduled for the 
November 2014 election, so we&#39;re gearing up for a big campaign against 
the fossil fuel industry. We&#39;re optimistic about winning because we&#39;ve 
been canvassing already and have gotten very encouraging support from
