Regarding printing petitions.

Normally we print them here locally but there is no time so I have had a conversation with Carrie and others about getting the petitions printed up there, and GX laid out what we will and won’t cover (costs of individual numbering if there is an additional cost) and that we use a place that is agreed upon.

Thanks Peter for flagging communication on this. Great to be clear. You will need to track this expense in your accounting, even though GX is paying.

You do realize that our PARTNER Shannon Biggs and Global Exchange will be printing the petitions.
There are critical parameters to the drafting of such a document which Global Exchange has experience with. From what I understand the printing of petitions has been budgeted for already.
I am concerned with what seems to be a lack of communication. For instance, how much money is in the Treasury? What is the budget? Who is documenting expenditures? Can we keep it under $1,000? Who is filing the appropriate forms with the County? Have we filed form 460? Are we prepared to publicize the ordinance in the newspaper? If committees are doing these things why is it not posted?
We better make sure the left hand knows what the right is doing. We are already being scrutinized. Is this a secure listserve? Do we need one?
~Please do not answer me directly, but consider the questions at hand, if you will.
By the way, Katrina at the county office has asked that no one call her directly except Kelly or me. If you have questions, please call or email me, as Kelly is out of town for a month. I may have the answer already. If not, I will call Katrina and ask. She was upset by the number of calls she was receiving, so please honor this request.
